What we collect

When you use Pomarola without signing in, your focus session data — tomatoes completed, jars sealed, pantry contents — is stored locally in your browser and synced to a server-side record keyed by a random anonymous ID (pomarola_user_id) that we generate and store in localStorage.

If you choose to sign in with a magic link, your email address is stored so we can authenticate you. Your session data is re-keyed to your user account and the anonymous record is deleted.

How we use it

Session data is used exclusively to render your harvest row, jar count, and pantry — nothing else. We do not analyze it, aggregate it across users, or use it for any purpose other than displaying your own progress to you.

Your email address, if provided, is used only to send magic-link sign-in emails. We do not send marketing email of any kind.

Where it’s stored

All server-side data is stored on onejsonfile.com, a simple JSON key-value service operated by Birch Tree Studio. No third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services are used.

Deletion

To delete your account and all associated data, contact support. We will permanently delete your email and session record within 7 days.

Anonymous session data (no email attached) is not linked to any identity and cannot be specifically deleted on request — it will naturally become inaccessible if you clear your browser’s localStorage.

Changes

We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be noted at the top of this page with a revised date.
